This is an exceptional healthcare REIT for income investors. I discuss three reasons why income investors may want to consider the healthcare REIT on the drop, too. An investment in the stock yields 5.4 percent, and the yield on cost can be expected to rise going forward.
I just doubled down on Ventas, Inc. (VTR) which makes an exceptional value proposition on the drop, in my opinion. Ventas is a high-quality income play for DGI investors that will continue to grow its dividend going forward. Shares have become more affordable on the drop, and the long-term growth trends in the industry are intact. An investment in Ventas at today's price point yields 5.3 percent, and the yield on cost is most likely going to rise.
