History demonstrates that these shares go on sale when investors are worried about how quickly interest rates are changing. Prices have been higher even when interest rates were higher. It’s all about the speed. Friday’s close saw some opportunities going from good to excellent. These shares don’t go on sale often.
Last time I told investors about the opportunity in AGNCO. That opportunity still exists, but there are several other opportunities as well. The most surprising sales came in preferred shares from AGNC Investment Corp. (NASDAQ:AGNC) and Annaly Capital Management (NYSE:NLY).
