PFB Corporation (TSX:PFB) manufactures and markets insulating building products made from expanded polystyrene materials primarily for the residential and commercial construction projects in North America. Northview Apartment Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX:NVU.UN) is one of Canada’s largest publicly traded multi-family REITs with a portfolio of approximately 24,000 quality residential suites in more than 60 markets across eight provinces and two territories. Established in 1995, and now run by Todd Cook, the company employs 751 people and has a market cap of CAD CA$1.25B, putting it in the small-cap group. Evertz Technologies Limited (TSX:ET) designs, manufactures, and distributes video and audio infrastructure solutions for the production, post–production, and transmission of television content in Canada, the United States, and internationally. Formed in 1966, and run by CEO Romolo Magarelli, the company now has 1,538 employees and with the company’s market cap sitting at CAD CA$1.42B, it falls under the small-cap stocks category.
